What is a rocker switch plate?
A rocker switchplate is a multi purpose plate used in many applications throughout the home. One of the main uses is for GFI's or Ground fault interrupters. GFI outlets are typically used in bathrooms, kitchens and others areas where water contact might occur.
Other uses for rocker plates are for decora switches or the larger paddle type switches. Many dimmer applications also use rocker openings as well.
All of our phone and data inserts are used with a rocker opening. The use of data inserts allows a variety of applications and combinations of cables, phones, and cat 5 connections.
All of our switchplate designs are available in rocker style in either single rockers, double, triple, four and five rocker applications. Combinations such as toggle / rockers and 2 toggle / rockers are also available.
